Overview

We are looking for a massage therapist who specializes in providing therapeutic massage treatments to clients. Our office focuses on deep tissue treatments for wellness, auto accidents and L&I clients.

We are looking for a part-time or full-time massage therapist to join our office. We are an independent office that has been serving Everett since 1998.

Our therapists are employees with regular hours. We do have sick leave that can be used for any reason as well as 100% paid medical premiums ($550/mo value) for the employee working full-time (30 hours onsite. Between 20-25 hands on hours). Electric tables in every room help our therapists maintain good body mechanics.

If you are interested in learning more or seeing if this is a good fit, please send us your resume.

Responsibilities

  • Client Consultation: Before each session, the massage therapist conducts a thorough consultation with the client to understand their medical history, current health conditions, and specific areas of concern. This information helps the therapist tailor the massage to the individual’s needs.

  • Application of Massage Techniques: Massage therapists use a variety of massage techniques, such as Swedish, deep tissue, sports massage, trigger point therapy, and others, depending on the client’s requirements and preferences. They apply appropriate pressure and strokes to target muscle tension and promote relaxation.

  • Maintain Cleanliness and Hygiene: Massage therapists ensure that the massage area and equipment are clean and sanitized before each session to maintain a safe and hygienic environment for clients.

  • Documentation: Keeping accurate records of each client’s consultation, treatment plan, progress, and any relevant health information is an essential part of the job. This documentation aids in providing effective and consistent care.

  • Client Education: Massage therapists may educate clients on self-care techniques, stretching exercises, and lifestyle adjustments to enhance the benefits of the massage and promote ongoing well-being.
